In 1907, Rev S.H. Breeze (1871-1951) sent postcards to the parishioners of St Thomas Anglican Church in Bunyip, Victoria to inform them that divine service was to be held at the church at 11 am on Christmas Day.

This original postcard was posted to Mr & Mrs Vickery of Bunyip on Christmas Eve, 1907.
Rev Breeze was based at St Thomas from 1906 to 1908.
The front of the postcard features a photograph of the church, built in 1902, along with an inset oval-framed headshot of Rev Breeze.
This unique piece of Victorian history is in good condition. There are no rips or creases and the corners show very little wear. Rev Breeze’s writing is clear and not smudged. The One Penny Red Queen Victoria stamp and postmark are in good condition and clear.
